In June 2007, Court Watch NOLA was formed. Led by executive director, Karen Herman, this group consists of volunteers who monitor cases at the Orleans Parish Criminal Court. In this capacity, these volunteers do not take sides. They are merely observers who report on the legal process to the benefit of the community.
