Attorney Jennifer Greene Appointed to Susan G. Komen's New Orleans Board of Directors

Jennifer Greene, who has been involved with the New Orleans chapter of the Susan G. Komen For the Cure New Orleans affiliate for the past seven years, has been appointed to its Board of Directors.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure ("Komen") is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists. Over the last 28 years, Komen has invested over $1.5 billion for research, education, screening, treatment and other community breast health programs. Komen is the leader in the global movement to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

"This organization's mission is very personal to me," explains Greene, "I am honored to be able to serve on the Komen Board of Directors and to have this opportunity to make such an impact on our local community."

Greene has been involved with the organization for the past seven years, recently serving on the foundation's Race for the Cure committee. Greene's firm, Herman, Herman, Katz & Cotlar, has been a longtime supporter of the Komen Race for the Cure, volunteering on race day, fielding a firm race team and financially sponsoring the Race, which is held each year in October. The date for the 15th Annual Komen Race for the Cure is Saturday, October 22nd, 2011.
